The most lacking segment of my body of work: photography outside of the United States. I guess the biggest reason that I havent traveled much outside of the US is money- followed closely by time. Hopefully, as my life stabilizes, I will have more oppertunities to travel. In fact, it is my intention to go to Europe once a year for the next five years or so. Since I have many friends in France, I will start there, but I intend to cover the entire Medatarranian and then start moving North. After Europe, its a toss up between Asia and South America, guess we will just have to see how things come out.

Went to Dublin in 2001, my second time in Europe. Wonderful little city with no skyscrapers and a cool arts district. Met some really cool people in the Hostel I was staying in. And, of course, many pints of Guiness
Another cool place where you could find huge modern buildings and lots of colonial era buildings with increadibly intraicate facades. Some amazing stuff that we just dont have enough of in the US. Plus, all of the Diego Rivera murals!
Beautiful little town where the family of an ex-girlfriend has a home. Totally awesome views and scenery and people. I got some truly awesome Black and White photos while walking throuhg the town.
Again, near where my ex-girlfirends house is. Cool city with a brillant, huge church that was light up nicely at night- wish I had brought my tripod! Great little reastraunt there that had an open square in the middle of the place and the roof could be opened or closed depending on the rain. Excellent food and the Flambe Mango desert was killer!
The heart of China- a mixture of collosal sky scrapers, balnd communist era apartment blocks, and the old school hutongs. A crazy mesh of pedestrians, bikers, and insane drivers. Plus, some good times can be found in the western bars where my firrends and I were treated almost like Rock Stars.
Up in the hills outside of Beijing. Quite a nice, quiet place with lots of pine trees and some nice breezes and not too much pollution like in Beijing proper.
At first, I'm thinking it just a wall. I mean, really. But, in the end, its a really big wall that was built a long time ago. I dont know the numbers. None the less, a truly amazing work of engineering and I got hte chance to walk along about a mile of it.
